I really hate exercising. help?

im writing down a work out plan i can do for the summer and my stomach has gotten too big. i was thinking i can do crunches again but i absolutely hate them. theyre painful and make me extremely emotional that i often cry while doing them. i used to do 10 minutes of crunches straight in the morning and in the evening but i really dont want to go back to that. is there anything i can do to work out my abs? something with results but no emotional scars?

I know what can help A BUDDY! If you know that someone is on your side dealing this with you then it is less of a diet. Like if you order off the menu something nutritious with a friend or go exercise with a friend. It makes it easier. Swimming-Helps out your belly and legs Lifting weights-Arm and leg strength Jogging-Belly and legs

For my abs I use an exercise ball. I hate just doing regular crunches on the ground. The ball makes them somewhat easier and depending how you position youself you can reach different parts of your core. They are only about $20 and you could always go to your local library and check out books that have tons of exercises that you can do on the ball!!
