Theory of the origin of our universe. Plausible?
-
Recently I have been searching into different evidences and theories as to the origin of our universe. I have looked over countless amounts of evidence with an open mind but also with a certain degree of scepticism, and all from opposing theories as well. When it comes to religious theories, I find them deeply unscientific, highly self-contradictory and when they try to debunk scientific theories about the Big Bang, I find the religious opposition to this deeply ignorant as they say all of this around us could not have come from nothing etc... but they insist that 'god' just poofed it into existence out of nothing, do get my point about the ignorance?! Although when it comes to my point of view I cannot see any plausibility within the religious theories, and when it comes to the Big Bang theory I view it as true to an extent. My views on the Big Bang Theory was that there could not just have been empty space and that these two huge entities of matter collided and that that created all of our universe around us. My theory that I have deducted from evidence that I have seen and from my own analytical thinking is that the possibility of mother universes could exist. Saying that, I mean that there could have been a universe that predated our own, and so that these entities that collided which gave birth to our universe would have come from this already existent universe, and hence gave birth to our own universe. And I suppose resultant of that, that there is the possibility of other universes, not just our own, that could exist. For replies back to this theory, I am looking for proper analytical logical scientific answers, evidence and reasoning, and if you are going to post a religious answer about god then I would prefer if you refrained as I do not hold that a plausible theory. @Eri, I stated that these other universes coexistent with our own at this moment in time, all could have been a resultant of mother universes so to speak. And the point of my theory was of the possible existence of mother universes in the past which gave any younger universes resultant of this mother universe the properties that they do.

http://www.examiner.com/philosophy-daily-living-in-philadelphia/intelligent-design-the-age-of-the-universe-and-reliable-doubt I have a point about the UNIverse, but really it's just a matter of symantics. A lot of the time we talk about Universes and multiple universes, but there is only one Universe. That's what the word means, All-in-one. Often we're referring to that collection of galaxies that we've been able to observe up to this time. So if your theory of another "Plane of existence" (for lack of better terms) AKA "Mother Universe" were found to be true, then it would be part of THE UNIVERSE also. But all that the Big Bang is about is the observation that the stars and galaxies that we've observed so far, all seem to be zooming away from one location. Billions of years ago for some reason all of the stars and galaxies were in that one place, which means that space and time as we know came from there also. Bu tmaybe there's much more to it than that. Maybe it formed from the condensation of gravity itself. Maybe an unknown dimension plays an important role. Maybe when nothing at all has been all that there is, then something has to for eventually (and by eventually I mean instantly, because all-time vs. no-time is meaningless before the creation of time). We know that a man with a beard sitting on a cloud didn't snap his fingers to just make it happen. Then again, maybe it did happen that way, anything is possible, but what's important is that we Test the ideas Objectively and Skeptically and we keep asking the hard questions like you're doing here.

Big Bang theory does NOT include an explanation of the origin of the Cosmos, it merely describes the rapid expansion of an already existing dense state of energy. Study more.

you stated that you have "been searching into different evidences and theories as to the origin of our universe. I have looked over countless amounts of evidence with an open mind but also with a certain degree of scepticism, and all from opposing theories as well." So please explain where you came up with the idea "that there [was] empty space and that these two huge entities of matter collided and that that created all of our universe around us" That bears no correlation to the Big Bang theory is is not similar to ANY theory I have ever heard of. Where did you get that bit from? Also, its really not correct to call your speculation a theory, it doesn't even qualify as a hypothesis. Finally, the definition of the word universe "All that there is" implies that if there was another "greater 'verse" that our 'verse came from than THAT would be the UNIVERSE that contains our 'verse. Lets be honest, you are talking about a multiverse theory here. This is not an original idea, it is the scientific equivalent of the religious fallacy that "gogidit". Instead of a mythical god creating the universe, you are proposing a mythical "mother-verse" without providing ANY evidence for its existence or any plausible explanation where IT came from. If there is a Mother-verse, then the questions about OUR universe just get shifted back a generation... where did IT come from? what was IT like in the early stages? what caused ITS rapid expansion. In other words you supplied a "religious" argument without actually using the word "God".

It sounds like you might be talking about brane theory, but it's just one idea for how the universe came to be, and it's a kinda out-there one deeply rooted in math, so you might not have the background to appreciate the argument. The idea that other universes are out there is not a new idea, but not one that can be tested currently. Also, coming up with a new theory doesn't mean having an idea, it means testing that idea and supporting it with more than just words. So what you've got is an hypothesis, one that has yet to be supported. If you want to do so, try starting with a physics degree.

The best explanation is based on the conservation of nothing. Then as now the sum total of the universe is zero. For each and everything there is the opposite that mutually cancel each other. Total enthalpy will be achieved when finally the pairs all find each other and disappear leaving nothing.

Some day in the future we may know more about the origin of our universe. As you know from your own research, the universe is incomprehensibly large and we haven't even seen the outer edges yet - if they even exist. Infinite or finite? Or finite with boundaries? Or finite with no boundaries in a design we don't yet understand. Science tries to answer these questions but, as it's been throughout man's history, religion tries to answer the questions that science can't. A singularity is rather a stretch, religion even more so. When did it all start? Where did it all come from? Are there other universes? Is the "when" a moot question because time is relative and generally accepted as the fourth dimension? Are there many more dimensions than four that we aren't aware of? All that was needed to start it all is energy - in an amount that is as incomprehensible as the universe itself and it begs the question of where that energy originated. Your question, I'm afraid, only elicits many more unanswerable questions. It's mind boggling. Good luck with your quest.
