What exactly is a perpendicular Universe?

It just seemed so pointless to me, if you were fighting to protect your universe A, you'd then travel to universe B, fight that B version, travel back home to universe C where everyone is apparently the same but not really, just a C version of them....

Does the universe have any shape? if so how can the realms of the universe be determined? no matter how big something is ,there's always something bigger. so is our universe part of another larger more elaborate system? and is there no end to this apparently...

As I see it, all of the objects that exist in the universe can only be confirmed by interacting with them in some way. So before there was any life to observe matter in the universe, was the universe just some big quantum probability soup that life evolved...

Is there a part of the Universe that is not visible to us, due to the position of our Solar System / Galaxy? Is there a "Dark" Universe as well?

And I'm not talking about the stars & planets etc. Are they talking about the angels...spirits...saints...or what? "Send it out into the 'universe'"...for what? ...show more

If I blow up a balloon, it expands due to the increased pressure within it, but it expands into space full of air that is readily compressible. So what doe the universe expand into? Whats outside that is allowing it to expand.

This sounds as a very egotistical question but things sometimes are not exactly what they seem to be .
