How to gain weight FAST?
-
I'm 15 and I weight 112 lbs and I am 5' 7''. I am currently 20 lbs under my ideal weight for my age and height. I am in spring workout, weights, and open gym so working out is no problem. I just need something to do that will help me gain weight. I was becoming a binge eater but the pain from eating so much was unbearable. How can I gain weight fast? Please don't say that I don't need to and that I am good the way I am, I hate hearing that. Me being skinny is the only thing keeping me from being pretty, in my eyes. I feel disgusting in all my clothes and I can't wear shorts without 5+ people mentioning how skinny and gross my legs look. Thanks .

Answer:
At 15 your body has still a long way to go to fully mature and gain weight. Let your body take it's time to grow. However in spite of what I said there is a way to accelerate your weight gain. In order to gain weight fast you'll need to increase your food intake as well as use resistance exercises to build muscle. I'll reveal to you tricks to increase your appetite to eat more food. Firstly you'll need to write up a plan detailing exactly what needs to be done to gain weight. Your plan should include how much weight you would like to gain, a deadline to reinforce the urgency to reach your goal, what foods to consume and which exercises to use. So for example if you want to gain 7kg, it would take around about 4 weeks. Foods to consume include brown rice, whole grain bread, pasta, beef, chicken, full-cream milk, high calorie fruits and vegetables. Now the trick to increase your appetite is to consume smaller but more frequent meals. Instead of 3 large meals per day, try 6 smaller meals throughout the day. At the end of the day you would have eaten more when you consumed 6 smaller meals than 3 large meals. Frequency is more important than quantity. Another trick to increase your food intake is to go out for a run. I'm not talking about jogging here, I'm talking about running as fast as you can. Run as fast as you can in intervals for 15 to 20 minutes per day and you'll notice yourself getting hungry. With respect to other exercises you should use resistance exercises. These exercises include push ups, pull ups, chin ups, dips and squats. If you have access to the gym you should consider doing deadlifts, barbell and dumbbell squats, barbell bench press and dumbbell bench press. These exercises are one of the best for building muscle and gaining weight. Within a month you'll not only gain a considerable amount of weight, you'll also change the way your body looks, rounder curves, more feminine looking.

Eat high caloric foods--pizza, hamburgers, etc. Deep fried foods work good as well. This keeps you eating in small portions but get massive calories so you don't feel like you have to shove things down your throat. Potato chips, donuts (crazily high calorie for such a small food), cookies. The possibilities are endless. Basically, anything that you hear that is unhealthy and causing obesity. Just make sure once you get to your weight you want eat things in moderation to avoid going overboard to join the fat crowd (my side). Extra butter, ice cream, soda, cake, etc etc.

It is pretty simple...you aren't eating enough. You obviously have a fast metabolism, so you can eat a lot without gaining weight. I have the same thing...and it makes putting on weight quite frustrating. I was 120 pounds at 5'10" a few years ago...and I am a guy. Talk about lanky. Everyone always commented on how skinny I was, and I hated it. So I started working out...and nothing happened. Everything revolves around your diet. If you want to put on muscle and not fat, you will have to work out (which it seems like you are already doing). But in order to gain weight you have to make eating your full time job. I went from 120 pounds to 170 pounds barely increasing my waste size in about a year, and I have to say it was the hardest thing that I have ever done. Start tracking your calories...what you eat in an average day. Lets say you eat 2,000 to make it easy. Well, start eating 2,500-3,000 a day. If the scale isn't moving, you need to eat more. It really is as simple as that. You might have to force feed yourself a times...after a few weeks you will get used to it. If you have any more questions let me know...I tried to keep it somewhat basic since you don't seem to care what kind of weight you gain. Example of what I ate when I was gaining weight - (not in any order) 3-4 eggs 2 cups of oats Chicken breast 3 cups of whole wheat pasta Protein shake 2 half pound hamburgers 2 whole grain rolls 3 Cups of brown rice Weight Gain Shake - (800 Calories) Greek Yogurt Powerade I am not saying you have to eat this much, your any of these foods. You can eat what you like, I ate like this to minimize fat gains. It seems disgusting, but eating like that is what it really takes to gain weight.

Ham, low-fat milk, meat, chicken, fish. protien shake + meal after workout. banana + complex carbs before workout. I just gained 15 pounds. NEVER let your stomach go hungry. That's the hardest part. If you wanna gain muscle then you're going to have to start doing some compound wieght exercises and less cardio. The more cardio you do the more you'll have to eat to make up for it. I completely stopped cardio for a while to gain this weight. Took me 2-3 months.
