Physics/Biblical Studies Double major?

Double major in Business Management and Chinese Studies?

  • Is it a good idea to double major in these courses today? I mean, considering that China is actually being more and more emergent in the "success scale" this doesn't seem to sound so bad right? But what i want to know is will the double major really matter when i go look for a job or perhaps start my own business? Besides, is it worth the additional 1 year of college to double major? I'm not sure if the returns will be worth it.. I am a junior from Ateneo de Manila in the Philippines and I am just really scared about work after college and i need all the help i can get in knowing the right decisions to choose about my studies! Thanks!

As far as I know, if you are in China and you can speak both English and the second foreign lauange such as Japanese or somthing, you can find a very well paid job, but I have no idea if that is the case in your country. What I mean is that you can say like this to the companies or the foreign invested enterprises you are applying for: My majors in college are Business Management and Chinese and I can speak both English and Chinese fluently, in addition I am able to handle daily work in both English and Chinese. I thinik mastering one foreign language is already pretty good, but if you can speak two and also can use them to do the daily work, like receiving and answering the phone calls from English speaking coutries and China, your salary will be at a higher level. Hope it helps..
