What to do about a phantom itch?

Pregnant with slight vaginal itch, what is it?

  • Im 26 weeks pregnant and have in the past few weeks have had a slight vaginal itch that between scratching and wiping i get a slight raw feeling. Ive been using none scented wipes to keep clean. I also sometimes when i wipe find this, im not sure how to describe stuff. If you've ever rubbed your hands together hard you get this flaky stuff that looks like all the dirt and dead skin on them rolling into little rolls. That is kinda what the stuff looks like when i wipe (sorry wish i knew a better description). If i keep using the wipes i don't get it but tend to on days im not able to use them like when im at work. The itch is only on the outside and i have no problems with the inside. I tried a test that tells you if there is anything there that shouldn't and it was negative. I also will occasionally use vagasil when the itch gets to annoying, usually by this point im a little raw so it has a slight burn but helps with the itch until the next time i wipe. Seems the itch acts up most when touched. Anyone know what it may be or things i can try to help?
