Fizzion cleaner for cat urine smell?

  • i need to find a cleaner to get rid of a horrible cat urine smell. i have a fixed male cat, that pees on the walls literally. i thought it was a UTI and he had pain while urinating but the vet gave him a clean bill of health and said that it may be a behavioral problem as i explained his behavior and temperament in the house. he has peed in every inch of my room (i had to confine him to my room) and the smell is getting so bad that it can be smelled as people go up the stairs to my house, and my door is closed. will Fizzion work? i have heard that since it is a Carbon dioxide based cleaner it works great.can i use it to clean the entire carpet in my room as well? help me i need to get rid of this smell ASAP

    I've just recently switched to this cleaner for my cat pee problem and found it does a much better job than the enzyme cleaners I've used in the past so I highly recommend it. If your cat is confined, please make sure he has something to keep him occupied - toys, a window to look out of, a cat tower, maybe some cat grass etc. Remember - a bored cat is a plotting cat. I've just recently switched to this cleaner for my cat pee problem and found it does a much better job than the enzyme cleaners I've used in the past so I highly recommend it. If your cat is confined, please make sure he has something to keep him occupied - toys, a window to look out of, a cat tower, maybe some cat grass etc. Remember - a bored cat is a plotting cat. Good luck.

Not sure about this cleaner but biological washing powder works very well, also if you look on the web there are various products designed for this purpose

Pet urine consists of mainly three parts. Urea; makes the urine sticky and allows the other two parts to stick around. Urochrome gives the urine its ugly yellow color that stains carpets, furniture, the wall and anything the cat sprays or urinates on. The third main part of the urine is Uric Acid. Uric acid in the urine consists of salts and crystals that give off the extremely pungent odor. These odors attach to minute solids floating in the air, most are invisible, each particle has a positive electrical charge because it is missing an electron. This enables it to drift as it is drawn in one direction and then another by electrical charges imbedding in carpets, drapes and walls creating phantom odors. Carpet and furniture are a reservoir for pet allergens, and the allergens can remain in them for four to six weeks. An ozone generator will remove the odors by seeking out the source and destroying it, aerosol sprays and candles only replace the odor with a more pleasant odor they do not remove the odor only mask it.
