How do you ship something frozen overseas?

Company that ships frozen foods?

  • I have a bakery and I am considering starting an online retail service where customers can order baked goods on my website and have it shipped to them within the next few days. I am having trouble finding companies that ship frozen food. I am also not sure if I can do this, legally, through fedex or usps or something like that because I have never tried to ship food before. If it helps, I live in the southern part of the east coast. I am preferably looking for one that ships all over the us, but one that ships all over the east coast would be great too. Please keep in mind that I need to do this legally and be able to follow all FDA guidelines. This is why I would prefer a company that specializes in shipping frozen food. Any advice or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

there's nothing illegal about it, most companies that ship perishable foods normally use dry ice. Try calling Fedex they have a dept. that can help you with all the details.
