Does respect comes by itself or Allah (swt) gives?

This was a small convo with a person who was in actual crying for a really seriouse reason, this is what I wrote : NOTE: these were my school days, I hope you do understand with no disruptions let me tell you about my big bro dont tell anyone when he was a student like me, he was in the clasroom the deputy assistant principle of the school was a female she said to return the letter (reply slip) which my brother forgot you following me? so she came to my brother's class and said who forgot to bring his/her letter my brother was the only one you know what happened? she came over to my brother, and started shouting my brother protected his gaze for the sake of Allah (swt) looked down, the female said "look at me, I am saying look at me!" my brother said "yes I am listening to you.." then she started to talk to another teacher infront of my brother, telling that teacher how rude is my brother because he just didnt look at her my brother protected his gaze for the sake of Allah (swt) now how you would you feel if you were in that place? teacher talking bad of you and shouting at you? and whole of the class looking at you? you following me? nevermind let me finish tho you would cry there, but my brothr did not and for this reason Allah (swt) gave him sooo much respect, he ranked 1st in the whole school in his exams EVERYONE knows him, and because of his respect they respect me. look, when situations are bad, dont cry. Leave it to Allah (swt) And have sabr (patience). Allah (swt) will give you such happiness in this world you will never have faced ALSO NOTE : I have cut of some of the convo. And they are not sorted, it is in the way of chat log. Also it is informal, and with grammer and spelling mistakes, since this is a chat, not a big deal. So after reading this informal chat (lol), now can you tell me who gives respect? It does not comes by itself, it comes by the will of Allah (swt). What do you say?

Answer:
Thanks for sharing. It is Allah who protects peoples and honour and it is Allah who shames the evil. If we stray away from guidance, then we will be humiliated.

Allah (swt) gives whatever he wants to anyone he wants. After all he is the creator and the god of all; the king of kings. Respect is just another thing like food or happiness, it can only be given and taken by Allah (swt). You may be disrespected by fellow people in your life, but if you deal with it in the way that the Prophet (PBUH) then ofcourse Allah (swt) will give you all the things you want, including respect.

Honesty
When we do what Allah swt commands us to do, we not only bring respect among us, but make those that do not respect us like tiny little ants who have no meaning. Allah swt's laws make us respectful and respected, But the only way it happens is by applying it and believing in it i respect that bro so much! the important thing here is that he kept his gaze lowered and didn't do what the teacher told him becasue Allah swt told him to do sth better. When we leave something not as good for the sake of Allah swt, He will reward us with something better. salamualikum
