How to install themes on windows XP?

Windows xp theme problem?

  • my operating system is xp sp2.processor is pentium 3 598mhz,512mb ram and video card memory size is 32mb.problem is when i install vista themes like aero,aero aurora etc,the theme will be applicable and when the computer restarts,the theme of exact colours are restored to windows classic themes.i installed theme patcher like uxtheme patcher.but the themes do not work on my computer.pls advice me what to do.thank you.

    Give it up. Your computer doesn't have enough juice for such eye-candy tweaks. Be contented with what you have. If you want a better looking interface, upgrade your hardware. Oh by the way, why haven't you updated to SP3? Perhaps that's the main reason you are having that problem in the first place.
