Which Universities in Sweden,Germany or other countries offer Free or inexpensive tuition?

Where am I going to study?

  • Hi, I am about to enter college few months from now and I passed the scholarship qualifications for the two universities that I prefer. The 1st UNIVERSITY is located in our city itself and 2nd UNIVERSITY would be located in another city, which can't be traveled by land from our city, so either I need to travel there by sea or air. Both universities are good and known in our country, but I am confused where would I study, if I'll choose the first university (my course in the 1st university is BSBA Business Economics), the advantage would it'll be near from our home, and a lot of my friends in high school would also study there, and I am happy to study there also in general. :) On the second university, the advantage would be is that the programs that they offer would be free tuition fee, books, board and lodging, etc. from my 1st year to 3rd year college plus I have monthly allowances (by the way my course in this university is different from the first one, it would be BS Marine Transportation or BS Nautical Science in other countries) and then I am on my own to shoulder the expenses during my 4th year college and the program promised (it's true) a future employment right after if I finish my undergraduate studies there. My family and I spent a quite sum of money and time so that I can go there and pass the scholarship and I did pass, and I know that money is hard earned and so is time is important. We are not poor and we are not rich in money. I went to the said university 3 times already (I traveled by sea) and I'll be coming back for the final screening. I know that this course will definitely give me a huge money in the future, but I really don't know if I'll be happy on the job itself. The disadvantages also would be I'll be far from home, I can't go out that much outside our dormitory and campus because the school is strict in our training it is like in the military, believe me! I strongly believe that I won't be happy there, and I would only be frustrated in the long run even though I can meet new friends there in general. Please help me, I am very confused, where do you think should I study? And Why? My family is supportive when it comes to education, but I also want to help them. They are in very favor in my 2nd course but at the same time they do not also prohibit me from my 1st choice. They want me to be happy. P.S. I live in the Philippines.
