How to improve my 5k time?

Right now, I guess im a pretty decent runner for my schools cross country team. Here are my PR's... 800: 2:08 1600: 4:38 5k: 17:15 Right now when I run everyday, i just run at a good pace for 40-50 minutes. I want to improve my 5k. Whats a good running schedule that can improve my 5k? THANKS!

For you I would start doing mile repeats. Since the 5k is faster and you have a pretty good base mileage its time to start doing some speed work. I would start doing them once or twice a week in the A good one would be to do 3 or 4 one milers at 5:50's range with about 2 mins jog rest in between. If the feel to easy just start to drop the time
