What are these sculptures and are they worth anything?

  • I found these two wooden sculptures at a swap meet for maybe two bucks and I was just wondering if they're worth anything and what they are used for?     While they might be something "real", like a pounder held near the bottom, I would think they are more likely to be decorator or tourist trade stuff that sells for about $10 each in the original market and $60-90-150 (whatever the market will bear) in decorator shops. If you like them, put them some place but don't expect any value - too modern on the bottom half and too primitive on the top.
