Xm radio service payment?
-
I found a working Xm (Satellite) radio unit in the trash. Is there a one time payment to get service, or is it yearly, or monthly, how is it typically arranged? I am getting these channels for free right now, is someone else unknowingly paying for them? And how would the companies cut off service if the person who threw it away stopped paying? I don't get it.

Answer:
Its usually quarterly and when the subscription runs out the radio will be shut off.
