What are these features on an F1 car?

F1 2012 game announced for September....?

  • What features would you like to see in F1 2012 that weren't in F1 2010 and/or F1 2011 (apart from all the bugs to be fixed)? I'd like the LED panels that light up to represent the flags to work in all conditions rather than just under the Safety Car. Also, I'd like to have the option to do the warm up lap before the race start.

  • Answer:

I would like to see more safety car opportunities, formation and warm up lap before the grand prix, podium ceremonies and maybe more freedom in the 'live the life' section of the game where you could maybe walk round the paddock and entering the garages. Also, bring back the after race press conference!

Deffo with the warm up lap. I think I'm asking too much here, but maybe for grid 2, have gp2 and gp3. If indeed on grid, it can be picked up by f1 as a step in your career. Probably asking too much...

They should take a look at F1 Championship Edition and take hints from that. F1 2011 and 2010's biggest problem is they are stupidly unrealistic. The physics are pitiful, the sounds are horrid, the AI is far too easy even on the hardest setting, there's no clutch option for G25 and G27 users so starts are incredibly easy, the top speeds of the cars are about 20-30 MPH higher than in real life, and that's not mentioning the countless bugs that need fixing. I'd like to have commentary in F1 2012, preferably with an option as to who commentates, for English versions it should be between Martin Brundle and David Croft (Sky), James Allen and Jaime Alguersuari (BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra), and Ben Edwards and David Coulthard (BBC TV). I'd like realistic sounds, as all cars sound different. Also I'd like extra cars and tracks to use in Time Trial and Online. The cars I'd like to see are: the McLaren MP4/5B and MP4/20, the Williams FW18, the Jordan 195, the Ferrari F2004, the Toyota TF105, the Brawn GP BGP 001, the BAR 006, the Honda RA106, the Lotus 97T, the Tyrrell P34, and the Brabham BT46B 'Fan Car'. And as for tracks, I'd like to see Jerez, Imola, the Nurburgring, the Nordschleife, Estoril and Donington.

seems sniff missed the point lol. My main want would be more obvious changes in handling and tyre wear when adjusting the car settings in the pit, I find its so small and hard to notice unless you make big changes and you don't find out until your 30 laps into a race when you realise your wearing you rear tyres more than your previous settings. totally agree on warm up lap I wouldn't mind also cruising around for the last lap after the race making sure I pick up debri and don't run out of fuel. I'd also in like qualifying for the teams to act like a real team not plodding along slowly pushing me into the pits!!! I want them running around trying to get me ASAP. lastly wouldn't mind a DLC legends pack mabye 3 old races and 3 old drivers and cars like prost and mclaren mp4 etc..
