Do virgin trains arrive on time?

Trains leave Station at 7, 7:16, 7:32, and a 7:48. Assume the pattern continues. If you arrive at the station at 8:30 am at what time will that next scheduled train depart?

I assume we are talking about the same day, and the given times are "am". The pattern is just adding 16 mn to get the next train. 8:30 is 90mn after 7:00. (60 + 30) 90 / 16 = 5 REST 10 Those are 80mn until 8:20 and I still need 10 mn until 8:30 I must wait the rest of the 16mn, so until 8:36 for the next train. Remark: As the pattern repeats only every 5 hours, the schedule will not be the same the next day...
