Toshiba Pro A200 If this doesn’t fix things the issue falls under the fact that you have XP and driver when it updated & installed is for vista so there may be a compatibility issue, so last resort will be reinstall http://www.notebookdriverdownload.com/haberler/14/How- to-install-audio-driver-on-your-notebook.html (This one I think holds real promise, look close at the Hotfix he is talking about) http://www.birseyindir.net/driver/Toshiba_Satellite_Pro _A20___7260.html (This driver is HD and for Vista and the most update version) http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/853/Realtek_HD _Audio_1.80_2K/XP_.html (Has a link for update for 2009) http://indoordrivers.osa.pl/windows-driver-vista1.html (Codec’s) POSSIBLE PROBLEM? http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/ download_drivers_bios.jsp (Site in UK for your laptop, people online say drivers are more update there) http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOUND-CARD/REALTEK/ (Large choices here) http://209.167.114.38/support/techsupport/ln_TechSupport.asp (site from Canada) hope one of them helps

Yup, you need to install soundcard drivers. You can use RadarSync (http://www.radarsync.com/). It's a program that searches and installs driver updates, a bit BETA, but it does the job. (Use only when you have desktop PC.)

Be sure and do all of your Windows Updates, even if you have to go to windowsupdate.com. It might find your sound card and install drivers for it.
