Help, my rabbit will not eat her food, veg leafy greens or hay, she appears to b sulking, has been to vets 3 times this week they feed her hay, greens she eats like a horse then comes home goes back on hunger strike again, i dont know what to do, anyideas

seems like you have a fuss pot on your hands ! lol, i suggest you try diff things like carrots, brocolli and fruit like apples and oranges, although do limit the ammount of fruit you give as it can be bad for their teeth in big ammounts. a bit like people and lollies really lol :)

Have you changed anything lately? Any changes in the house/environment could be stressing bunny out. She may not be sulking, she may be hiding - staying very still - in hopes that the "scary thing" will go away. I agree with everyone else, ask the vet where they get their hay and buy the same. Or have the vet send some of their hay home with you. If she eats is, you need to change your food supplier. If she doens't eat, something in the house is feaking her out. (sound, smell, new furniture, new cleaner, moved furniture . . .)

Are you feeding the same type of hay as the vet, the same kinds of vegetables? Rabbits do best on good quality timothy hay and green vegetables, but not iceberg lettuce. What did the vets say? Did they check her GI and say she was okay? Is she pooping normally? Is she drinking? Is she quiet at home or under stress? Often if a rabbit is scared they will be too stressed to eat.

dont give her food for 4 hours. let it have water every 15 minutes. after 4 hours feed her. I she doesnt eat do the same. it worked for my rabbit. my vet said so.
