I had night terrors for about 10 years after I was in Iraq. They stopped just as suddenly as they started and I haven't had one in about 7 years now.

albert nonymous "A" nonymous for short.

The first time I had what people term sleep paralysis was when I was 15. I was dreaming but became fully conscious in my dream. I could see my room and my "body" rose out of the one on the bed. It started moving towards the window. I was terrified because I was watching this happen with no control of how to stop it. I got scared enough where my body started coming back to the bed and then moved in another direction and wanted to go through the wall but since I was so resistant, it kept bouncing against the wall. Finally it came back over my sleeping body, hovered and then whoosh, came back in my physical self. I immediately awoke and could move around. I ws soaked in sweat. I don't believe this is sleep paralysis. I believe it was my first experience with astral travel. I have since learned that when I am paralyzed in my sleep, after I feel the initial fear, I am conscious enough to focus on anything else, usually I pray a prayer and it instantly goes away.

I had that all the time for a few years when I was in university. At first it feels horrible but I learned to be ok with it. I still get it once in a while... maybe two or three times a year. Most commonly if I've been pushing myself too hard and I end up taking a nap in the afternoon and there's daylight in the room. I'll take an hour nap and when I wake up I'm stuck in the paralysis. You can fight to get awake or do the astral projection stuff or just decide to go back to sleep.

Night terrors, is slightly different version of sleep paralysis. Yes I've had both. S.P. is where you wake up from a deep sleep, but you can't move- because part of you is still in the 'not move your body in your dream' mode. Whereas N.T. involve an almost hallucigenic quality to someone out to get you, but you can move.

Ive had a period in my life when I experienced them everyday straight for months. At first it was super scary, the first sign I would know is if my bed light didn't turn on. It's like I would flip the switch and when it wouldn't come on I'd be like FUCK!!!!!!! NOT AGAIN! LOL I got used to it though and wondered what the demonic creature would come up with next. Ive read that this has nothing to do with demons but in my case it is pretty clear, since everytime this happens there is this naked pale chick with long black hair covering her boobs. It's always her, but sometimes it is another person: this really white (pale) fat man. Anyways she had talked to me a few times in ghostly mumbles, one time I fell asleep watching tv and I woke up to find her lying right beside me on her side looking at me and talking strange shit. On other occasions when I broke out of the paralysis she would follow me wherever I went. One time she drove me to jump off my friends balcony. She usually sweeps her hair on my back and pushes me down. One time she pushed me down so far and hard that my cheek started to cut into the wire of the bed and there was blood everywhere. Here is the story one. I fell asleep on my bed on my back and then I woke up. I started walking out of my room and passed by my fridge. I opened the freezer and two guinea pigs were playing hide and seek in there (it seemed normal to me at the time when this happened lol) Everything seemed normal but the lighting was very dark and hazy. Anyways, so I started to walk into the living room where we have a pull out bed. As I passed I noticed that all of our shoes weren't in the right positions. They were shelved in the kitchen. I don't know, but at that point I just knew that this was a night terror and she was somewhere there! So I pretended that I didn't know anything and procceeded quickly to go to sleep on the sofa bed and just as Im about to, I get paralysed! I just stiff up and fall flat on my back on the bed. I close my eyes and pray to God. I was pissed off more than scared at the fact that this is the 100th billion time I'm having these dreams! So the I feel my legs slowly rising, she is lifting them and I had enough. I open my eyes and shout: "F*** YOU YOU STUPID B****! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE YOU COWARD!" and just kept on ranting and ranting on. When I finished she just gave me a creepy confused look on her face. She stared at me blankly and slowly dropped my legs, moved back and dissolved. After that experience I haven't encountered her for about half a year, but others did show up occasionally, more simpler ones :) which was a break. But wehn she did come back, it was all on again. I would wake up and be in a paralysis, and then I would actually wake up and more to turn on my light, and then just as I'm about toflip the switch I stiff up and and am paralysed again (and then it repeats until I can't take no more) The most recent once I had was revolting! I was in a normal dream and then I woke up on my stomach and proceeded to sleep, but as I wanted to roll over I saw that I woke up into sleep paralysis. So I tried to ignore it but the girl in my dreams wouldn't let me, instead she laid ontop of my back and hugged me, which was really creepy. She then got off me and there was silence. One minute later, she gently grabbed my leg and slowly dragged my body from the bed onto the floor. I was still paralysed and my eyes were closed as she proceeded to lift me up in a stance. She was right infront of me, holding me, and I was completely freaked out! So I just decided to open my eyes and see, so I did and it was the usual naked grey lady with the long hair. Her face wasn't too clear, but what happened next was not hot (I'm a girl by the way) . She pulled me close to her and stuck her tounge down my throat, she started to make out with me really slobbery and I couldn't to anything but make noises of disgust and cries of help. My whole face was wet, and this lasted for about 2 minutes. She then threw me ontop of my bed on my belly and left. But, my face landed on the pillow and so I couldn't breathe and I couldn't move so I did my best to breathe hard and get at least a little oxygen. But it was horrible and lasted for a while. Then I woke up gasping for air, with dried spit on my fae and wet on my pillow! So I don't know man, it used to bother me before, but now I've become immune to it :)
