My 8 year old female lab cross has some whitish yellow discharge coming from both of her eyes. I am thinking it could be either allergy or conjunctivitis. Polysporin eye drops are effective for human conjunctivitis but is it okay for canines?

Answer:
NO! Do not even consider such a thing. Call your vet before you put a human perscription of anything on your pet. Dogs eyes are not human eyes. Please.
