How do I claim expenses as a 1040?

Form 2106 allows people to claim necessary work expenses to deduct them from taxable income on 1040. I am required to eat avg. 3 meals a day in order to make it work. What are the chances I can get away with this argument?

I have to clarify the question. There wasn't enough room. You can claim 50% of meals eaten for various business reasons. I am referring to all meals eaten throughout the year. I would also include rent since if I didn't have protection from the elements, I either wouldn't be able to make it to work or my boss wouldn't want me. If I didn't excercise proper hygiene my boss probably wouldn't want me. These are all necessary expenses required of me to be a functioning member of society, so why shouldn't I claim these items? Basically what I want to know is what are the chances I get in "trouble" and should I take the chance considering I do not agree with gov't actions on a whole?
