This review is from: XITECH ELM327 BLUETOOTH OBDII OBD2 DIAGNOSTIC SCANNER CAN ELM 327 SCANTOOL CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAR CODE READER (Electronics) This is a great little product however the documentation is lacking (if you can't handle 'playing' with electronics and software to get it working find an alternative product). The product comes with a single small CD of free-ware / promo-ware software (one of which includes a trojan that will setoff your anti-virus software). Despite that, I found that it works great with a number of open source programs. I use it with an '09 mini cooper S - typically connected to a moto droid running Torque. Great combo overall. My only complaint is that the connection drops about once every minute or two even though the two are located about 12" apart. It takes so long to go through the connection and discovery process that in the end, it's only connected about 50% of the time.
