Wouldn't be wiser and more helpful if we directed people how to find Amazon's HELP link and contact info?

I agree with Gary ,there should be a big link at the top and bottom of the page,how hard would that be??

I'm talking about dealing with the fact that Amazon is showing no interest in improving the site so that the customer service info is easy to find for EVERYONE. They are not going to change that any more than we are going to get our discussion board back. That as a given, we are going to continue to get these repeated requests for information. However, if these are real, and some have to be, then wouldn't it behoove us to teach people how to use the website rather than posting the information outright? Then when they again cannot find the customer service info, they return here and know they can just ask us again. This is how I taught my kids to research on their own. I did not hand them answers and if Amazon is so determined to ignore the fact that customers can't find that info then at least give askers directions on how to search a webpage; page down, use their computers.

Let's wait and see what happens on this one. It may give us hope.

Sure. We know it. Amazon knows it. But nothing ever changes and we are expected to be customer service representatives. Let's agree on a standard reply that teaches people how to use the Amazon site
