Coffee. Good, or bad (or a little bit of both)?

I've never really been a big coffee drinker for that matter, and heck, up until December I went without a single cup of coffee for almost 5 months. But I've had about a cup of coffee once every 2 days this month and now I'm wondering whether I should really make a habit out of drinking it, or ditch it? I am health-conscious and I heard that caffeine has bad effects on you over a prolonged period of time.

I actually had to write a paper on this and did quite a bit of studying to do so..,the results were that: coffee can give one the jitters( I kid you not) it can cause osteoporis of the hip in a very small % of population , can cause some female breast (minor) issues dull aches...nothing major in other words..It was NOT proven that it keeps you awake..that was from a lot of books:-)

Coffee can have its benefits in moderation...however too much is certainly not good for you!!

I drink tea. Once in a while I'll have a cup of joe, but, it starts making me too wired. Also, I can't stand the smell of cold coffee.

if got addicted with,then not worth.but have a few(2~3) cup per day,is good refresher.
I would suggest don't drink it ... there are so many other beverages that are better for you. If you're not "hooked" .. don't get that way.

Just know, moderation is probably your best bet if you want to start drinking coffee...I drink hot chocolate myself :)
