Hotmail account names?

I upgraded to IE 8, and now I can not have 2 hotmail sessions open at the same time - does anyone know if this is

  • possible, and if so, what setting to change? I want to have e-mail at accounts http://[email protected] and http://[email protected] open at the same time (those are examples, not my real account names).

  • Answer:

    Turn off tabbed browsing(tools-internet options-tabs settings) and then go to tools-internet options-advanced and under the browsing section uncheck "reuse windows for launching shortcuts". Be sure to click apply and okay and you are set!

That is strange cause I thought you should be able to sign in to each account from a new window. Make yourself not auto logged in and clear cookies and try it again.

Forgot to add that you need to open a new window for each account. Log into one and then minimize that window and go to desktop and open a new window for the next account. You should be able to see both now. I do this all the time so it should work.
