Changing Cursor Speed In the same tab, you have to option to change the speed of your cursor. If the cursor is jumping around, try slowing down the pointer speed. Other Options Always be sure that your mouse is properly plugged it. If you are operating a wireless mouse, jumping around may mean that your batteries are dying. Replace the batteries and turn your mouse back on. Your cursor should be back to normal.
