To start a video chat, users must click on the webcam symbol for a particular user in their "Contacts" list. You can hide the fact that you have a webcam connected to your computer to prevent webcam requests from other users. Difficulty: Easy Instructions Click "Tools" from the MSN Messenger toolbar and click "Options" from the menu. If the toolbar is hidden, hold down "ALT" to make it appear. Click "Personal" from the "Options" menu. Click the "Allow Others To See That I Have A Webcam" check box to remove the check mark. Click "OK." Other users will not be able to see you have a webcam and will not be able to send webcam requests.
