Given someone with a college-level background in math and physics, are there online books or other resources that could give a thorough introduction to oil well drilling? This would cover such basics as for instance calculating bottom hole pressure and a suitable mud weight, knowing the components of a drilling rig and the different drilling operations and detecting a kick.
