What are your experiences with fostering kittens from the San Francisco SPCA?

  • We're considering fostering a kitten from the San Francisco SPCA ( http://sfspca.org/programs-services/foster-care). What are your experiences with this program? Would you recommend it?

    I fostered kittens from pima co animal care center last year and it was such a rewarding experience. I know some people would say they are just cats. But it gave me a sense of purpose & knowledge that I had saved these kittens lives. I know the people you work with can make a difference, but ultimately it is about the cats& saving lives. Most places have fairly high turn over & people change. Just the fact that they are fostering g means they care about lives- some facilities put kittens to death immediately so they don't have to deal with them.
