What are some cool e-mail options?

What are my options for service providers who can help me generate in-email customer satisfaction surveys?

  • Box is doing this with Zuberance, but this isn't a great fit, and Survey Monkey doesn't support. I'd think there would be some good options out there?

    Polldaddy has such a service.  http://blog.polldaddy.com/2009/09/21/embed-poll-survey-in-email/ You can also do it using google docs (video): Just consider the experience of a bare bones survey with no Javascript fancyness - ie: Validation, format checking, Blank fields, etc.   Anything fancy also raises the risk of lower deliverability and user frustration.  One other "soft" human aspect: Many people have been trained by IT to never fill out a form in an email....Would be interested to see open/fill rates for this sort of thing.

I have never filled a form inside an Email, Eventho' it is super easy, for some reason I don't believe it would work : Tried it earlier, didn't work, May be browser compatibility etc., is better now, but still I am not comfortable, personally. Even on a generic note, I am really not sure people will fill out a form inside their Email, If there is a "Click here if you like our service" Vs "Click here if you didn't like our service" kind of Yes / No links, they may (Easy to fill, one click forms). Otherwise, providing a link to fill the feedback seems to be the right way to do it (and you have 1000 less technical problems to worry about) As Aaron Rothschild mentioned, Google docs is super easy on this front. I have used it many times and works perfectly. Has some limitations, but we can live with it. For a free tool, it is great.
