How can I lose 5 pounds a week for 3 months?

Hey guys, I'm 14 almost 15 years old and I would like to lose 5 pounds a week for 3 months straight to look good for my first year in high school. I'm currently 5 foot 11 inches and I weigh a little over 200 pounds. (I have big muscles and I want them to show more) I need some feedback ASAP on a GOOD diet please! Thanks!

I am going to have to agree with the fact that you don't want to start out with losing 5 pounds a week start trying to lose 2 lbs a week, but a good way to lose weight is to just give up junk food, when you go to the grocery store look at the calories label and see how much it is and tip: do not get pop tarts they may be delicious but they are bad for you, give up soda and replace it with water have breakfast, lunch, and dinner never miss a meal. and every month and a half or so treat yourself to some frozen yogurt. Oh yeah and exercise daily.

I'm guessing your a guy since you weigh 200.. Eat a light dinner every night like soup and you'll lose weight. Trust me ;)

Sounds like you want to lose 60 or 70 pounds in three months. You might survive that. But it isn't healthy. You might want to aim for 25 pounds over the three months. That's about 2 pounds per week. Good luck.

Although exercise is always good, eating the right food is extremely important. I suggest making salads. Maybe have fruit smoothies instead of bread in the morning (but don't skip breakfast!!) for lunch maybe snack on nuts and even a pb and j sandwich with natural peanut butter is good. Just try switching the food you eat to alive food, and making you're own stuff instead of pre made packages stuff. But don't not eat. That won't do you any good! Good luck!!

First of all 5 lbs a week will kill you or damage your organs. Exercise if you want muscle definition. Google or search on YouTube "golden Adonis Ratio" because that's probably the best male exercise program out there

Thats WAY too much. Very unhealthy boardering on dangerous!!! To loose that much that fast youd have to reduce calories so drastically youll deprive your body of much needed nutrients and can cause youself damage. The body REQUIRES some calories to stay functional.

Atkins diet is an awesome diet. My dad and mom did the diet and you don't starve yourself. All you have to do is only eat 20 carbs a day. It may not sound like a lot but meat and vegetables don't have a lot of carbs or have none. Atkins also has granola bars that are about 2 carbs. My dad followed the rules on the Atkins website and lost on average 1 pound per day. He usually had 1 day (Saturday) where he ate up to 30 carbs. My point is unlike other diets you DO NOT starve yourself.
