How can I convince my parents to let me wear false eyelashes?

  • I was looking at some make up videos that show you how to have cute doll eyes and most of them have girls applying eyelashes on their eyes. At first, my mom was going to say yes to it but then my dad butted in and said no. And my mom finally said no when she wanted to try out some make up on my eyes and realized that my eyelashes are already long. But I really want to have false eyelashes so my eyes can look cuter and bigger instead of dark and weird.

How old are you? IMO they are not appropriate for teens, Teens do NOT need that stuff. when you get older like 18 and move out you can wear what you want. But as long as you live under their roof, its their house, their rules.

I have a friend who has very sparse eyelashes as an adult because she used false eyelashes so often when she was younger. Each time the lashes were removed it pulled out some real lash hairs. Over time, some of her real lashes stopped growing because they had been pulled out repeatedly. It's better to only use them for special occasions so that way the pulling is not a constant occurrence.
