  Henna is permanent, with henna indigo is almost totally permanent as well. A hendigo mix may fade a little, to be a warmer, lighter brown, but it will never wash out or fade entirely. The blonde will not be coming back till it grows out. Henna's good for hair, and indigo isn't bad for hair but can cause temporary dryness, usually not an issue when it's combined with henna. If you want a cooler, flatter brown without red tones, add amla to the henna paste before adding indigo, it removes the warmer redder tones from a hendigo mix.
