well if u use a 32 bit & u have more than 4GB ram it would get u a 3,79 GB ram usable so u r losing ram if u have a less than 4 GB microsoft prefer u to get a 32 bit or X86 & if u get a 64 bit on ur 2GB ram it would get a compatible error with ur hardware with Debug in games & kick u out with a lot of games ...

see there is no difference between x64 = 64 bit and x86 = 32 bit. Microsoft launches os's for both platform.. ---- yet major difference is 32 bit uses less resources to run than 64 bit os as per you have got 2 gb of ram 32 bit os whether windows vista or windows 8 or any othere 32 bit os is for you.. so go ahead and enjoy...

64 bit processer is a stronger processer then a 32 bit.. but listen every PC becomes slower as time progresses and as you use it more and more, and as GATDEF said if it does not lag now i assure you it will start lagging later on.

64 bit is primarily better for PCs with 4GB RAM and more - 32 bit is mainly for what you have now, and even though it isn't laggy now doesn't mean it won't be later... that said, it depends on the rest of the specs of your system -
