Is it possible to be allergic to Nickel?

If you are allergic to nickel would you be allergic to gold?

    A lot of people are allergic to nickel. Most people do not react to gold, which is why it has been used for centuries for jewellery, perhaps for this reason. You should be fine with yellow and rose gold. Just avoid white gold as that has nickel in it. I'm allergic to nickel but can wear gold.

You should be able to, but not gold plated. Try a ring or earring for a day and see what happens.
