Do I need GCSE's to study languages at College?

    The way they teach a language at uni is different from the way it is taught in school, In school it is conversational spanish/french etc you learn but at uni it is vowels, verbs etc. As for your question yes you could study it at uni without an A level in it but as long as you have at least A grade in at least english, maths and science subject in GCSE and A levels and several other A grade subjects you should get into uni, normally languages are added into certain degrees, my daughter does social science with languages, Good Luck
