    The Fremont Street Experience is the light show on the canopy each night. It's pretty cool, and worth checking out. Otherwise, it's just a place to wander around and get a feel for "old" Vegas - the original casinos are there, there is live music playing, etc. The Mob Museum is in that area as well.

Fremont street has the big canopy that plays videos after dark. It's all above you and very cool. The casinos are some of Vegas' first casinos and really Fremont street is what Vegas used to be. You park and walk around. Most of the casinos there will give you free drinks for walking through the door, but the waitress' will stand there waiting for their tip. There's also vendors outside the casinos to buy drinks. It's a good time just to wander. Is there anything specific you were looking at doing? Ps... I am a Vegas local :)
