How To Export Facebook Fans?

French-speaking author: what would be the best strategy/app to give away a kindle book from Amazon (fr) to Facebook fans (and new fans)?

  • I'm a self-published French-speaking author (present on Amazon France). I've got a fan page with a little more than 1000 fans. My aim, in the pre-launch period of volume 2 of a series of mayan mysteries, is to give away volume 1 to 100 fans each week (existing and/or new) in order to 1) raise the amazon ranking of volume 1, have more people interested  in volume 2 AND to build my list. Given the little competition in the category (historical mysteries), that would be enough to have a significant impact on its amazon ranking. Therefore, I'm brainstorming strategy ideas for a weekly campaign (promoted post?, ads?, existing fans?, non fans?) and looking for an app (not too expensive and easy to use) that would allow me to create some kind of fun, excitement (not to make the book look cheap) and collect email addresses (for a mailchimp list but also to give away the books on Amazon itself, not just as a file sent in an auto-responder sequence). For this, I would have a budget of $100 per weekly campaign. This must include the fee for the app + facebook ads. ...And my public is strictly French-speaking (and located in France or Belgium) as it is to promote a book published in French and to increase the ranking on Amazon France (not .com). I also have a twitter account with around 2500 followers: an integrated strategy Facebook/Twitter would therefore be best. By the way, I'm not a full-time author ;) I have a full-time job as well. Therefore, time is also something to factor in...

Make an essay contest to get your Fans to comment on something related to your first book - with the prize being your book. Make a photo caption contest to get your Fans to caption an image related to your books. Have a vote contest after to choose the winner. Check out our customer case studies for proof on how successful you can be: http://corp.wishpond.com/customer-case-studies/ Our apps are not free, but they cost as little as $19/month - well within your budget, so you can spend some on Facebook ads to further promote your offers.
