For what purpose is palm oil used?

When the mixed cooking oil is used for cooking arises excess foam. Why could that happen? And is there anything that can give you advice for natural anti-foam (safe to consume)? The oil mixture consisting of palm oil, coconut oil, and virgin coconut oil.

  • Answer:

Can I presume that you are deep frying and not pan frying? Foam is usually from water as it steams out of the oil; water could be coming from the food you are frying, or it may be trapped in the oil if it has already been used. It is possible that it may be from the oil breaking down instead but I would consider water first. Try prefrying. Take the food you intended to deep fry and first fry at a much lower temperature. Raise the heat only after you have driven off the steam.
