I cant add a contact nickname in my yahoo messenger it says does not succeed due to server error,what do i do?

i want to add my contacts nicknames but it keep saying due to server error 40402 the nickname did not added,what must i do?

Edit your address book first in yahoo mail Although there is not a direct link between the same contact in the 2 locations, the yahoo software can see the difference after your editing and triggers a 40402 (server error) If you wanted to DELETE a contact you would have to do that in messenger first
