Why is my car stereo making a white noise/ buzzing sound?

    it depends on what type of static it is. it could be a blown speaker which will get worse when you turn up the volume, but wouldn't change with the speed of the vehicle. It could also be the spark suppressor, which keeps the spark plug from interfering with the radio reception. If it gets worse when you accelerate, it may be the suppressor needs replaced.

it could be that the speaker is blown

You might've blown out one of the speakers. Do you usually play your music super loud? If so, that's probably it. In that case, you can try not using the speakers for a week or two and see if it fixes on it's own. If not, you'll have to get them replaced.
