Is it possible to get the newest version of MSN on an imac?

How can I get the version of MSN that changes the display name colours?

  • All my friends have got the MSN version where you can change the colour of your display name where I am stuck with the old version. How do I get the described version?

    Ok......frist download the newest messenger at http://get.live.com/messenger/overview Then download the msn add on called "msn plus" download that at http://www.msgplus.net/download/ Then go to your msn options and next to your name it should say "format codes' click on that and choose a colour! If this little bit of info is too hard to understand....don't worry you'll get what I mean as soon as you download msn (messenger) plus.......

You say you are *stuck& with the old version. I believe MSN no longer supports MSN messenger and they have been rolled into Windows Messenger. WM does allow you to change text colors - include a rainbow effect. HTH : ) C-bug
