How do I change my mouse cursor (from the arrow to a different picture)?

I know where to find the default icons to change it to, but what if I want a different icon? P.S I saw Microsoft had a banana cursor. I lol'd

well i have a dell laptop and i go to my computer then click on windows 2000 or whatever you have then click control panel and click on mouse then theres three taps click on pointers and they give you like a ton of options hope it works and hope i helped

I currently have a Dinosaur as my Pointer on my Vista PC but i have had loads of different ones ib the past,..including the Banana! ;) Start>Control Panel>Mouse>Pointers Tab. Choose Scheme you want,click Browse button to choose one from the long list.
