    Depending on what u r planning on doing, you can add many effects with Microsoft power point but u must use the 2010 version!! It has a lot more effects but u really have to experiment with it and get good with it. It may not look like u could make professional pics with it but u can and when u go to save it, click on the box that says "save as type" to make it a pic and click on jpeg gif or PNG or whatever
