ebook because i can hack to get free books

Sony Reader. I like the ease of use. Nook is complicated once you try to purchase books from somewhere other than B&N. Kindle requires conversion of books purchased elsewhere. I prefer to read an e-ink screen. iPad is a tablet computer with an LCD screen, my eyes would be bothering me in no time. I need a sturdy reader. Sony made their Readers in aluminum, the better to handle life's little bumps and bruises. Kindle and Nook are plastic and (even when in a cover) can't handle being dropped without taking serious damage. I can't imagine what would happen to an iPad dropped three feet to pavement. Honestly, I have been using a Sony for over 2 1/2 years now. It is an older model and has performed beautifully no matter what I seem to do to it. It has no bells and whistles, the screen is not the new technology, no WiFi, etc. and it cost more than anything being sold today. If I could go back in time, I'd buy the same model all over again (this time I'd buy more covers, though.) In reality, when it needs replacing, I'll definitely buy another Sony Reader model.

honestly, i'd invest in an ipad over those due to more apps, but you can also try the samsung tablet which carries the kindle app on it, i have the ipad and samsng tablet - i'd prefer the tablet more cause it's a good carry around size and the battery is splendid it works as wifi internet too.

Out of those, probably iPad. But only because I have an iPhone.. And I like reading on it, since i can take it with me anywhere. Although the Nook looks pretty cool, having an E-Ink screen and all.
