simpsons is waaaayyyy funnier to me...alot of family guy "plots" just copy simpsons episodes. family guy isnt bad but its just more crude and made for younger people with less mature minds.

The Simpsons is better. The jokes are a lot more thought out. If you pay enough attention and have the background knowledge to get them, its funnier than any other show out there. Most Simpsons episodes have a unique plot also, which the jokes tie in to. ex. The plot came first, not just a bunch of jokes that a plot was built around, like Family Guy often is.

The older Simpsons episodes were very funny. I don't care for Family Guy; it's too much 13 year old boy humor for me, but my kids like it.
