Yes, turtles can basically eat anyting but dairy and a sugar. We feed are turtles just about anything we eat example if im eatting salad i toss them some If im eatting steak i toss in a little, what ever you give them make sure its not spicy and dosent contain high amounts of dairy. Since you turtle is in captividy you shouldnt feed him bugs or anything from the out doors, they get confused and are use to certain things
