Do freshwater turtles like vegetavles? ex lettuce and cucumber?

Liking them is not the question. You probably like ice cream, cookies, and candy but that would not make a good diet for you. Juvenile turtles need a high-protein, high-calcium diet. Adults can have up to half vegetables but stick to the dark green leafy ones and the bright orange ones.

Yes, turtles can basically eat anyting but dairy and a sugar. We feed are turtles just about anything we eat example if im eatting salad i toss them some If im eatting steak i toss in a little, what ever you give them make sure its not spicy and dosent contain high amounts of dairy. Since you turtle is in captividy you shouldnt feed him bugs or anything from the out doors, they get confused and are use to certain things
