I try to maintain 8 hours of sleep, but my cycle is way off balanced these days. Sometimes I'd doze off when its 10 at night, sometimes I wouldn't be able to sleep till its 3. Pressure and anxiety. Usually have a lot on my minds that I can't stop thinking about. And with some very critical academic exams coming up, things are gonna get worse. Though I'm taking preparation right now so that I don't have to cram.

I needed a lot of sleep when I was younger. If I didn't get about 8 hours during the night, then the next day was a living hell. I've learned to go on less sleep, though, lately, and I think it's due to there being a lot less stress in my life. ((((Nikon))))

I saw the advert about how we need 7 hours sleep each night, I would give anything to have 7 hours, in fact I would give anything to have 5 hours sleep. I went to sleep last night just after midnight, woke at 1.15, 2.30, and 4am, I slept till around 6 and got up at 6.30, I am like this every night and I am a diabetic so according to the story i am about to take a heart attack and die? Doctor gave me pills to help but the warnings could be sleep walking, sleep driving etc i live 9 floors up and live alone so I don't feel it is safe to take them, I could climb out the window or drive my car while sleeping?

Sometimes I sleep seven hours/night. Usually it's ten though. And I feel good, I mean come on; IT'S SUMMER VACATION FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!

Even as a child, I disliked sleeping. Not that I have bad dreams or anything, I just dislike being unconscious. I go to sleep usually between 3 or 4 in the morning and get up around 8:30 or 9. I have been doing this for years and do not feel "sleep deprived" at all. All I can say is that it works for me. Kuma

i only get 5 or 6 hours during weekdays because of college and work, but i sleep for like 9 to 10 hrs on weekends. I think 7 to 8 hours are the best.
