    Your brain has to get used to the new timing of a double jump. Like your brain had to learn the timing for the extra half rotation on your axel. I'm sure when you started on whole flips and loops your free legged tapped down a bit on the landing. Now you can do whole jumps in your sleep because your brain is trained to do the jump, it's used to the timing of it. Don't overwork your new doubles, but just keep practicing them the way your coach wants and at some point your body and brain will work together, the timing will be worked our and you'll have them.

you need to make sure that your legs are crossed over in the air and then when u land hitch your foot up and out and i suggest maybe do off ice it helps a lot.
