Salchow and Toe-Loop tips?

all of these are based on a right handed person solchow: 1.left 3 turn 2. jump off your inside edge of left foot 3. 1 revolution 4. land on right foot going backward Tips: 1.Don't forget your arms! make sure there neat, not flying around. and have them in a nice landing position 2.Make sure your jumping off your edge, not your toe pick. i had that problem at first. find a clear area of ice and do your jump. look back a where you took off. it should look like a flag. if you don't get what I mean, your coach should be able to tell you if your jump is correct or not. 3. Make your 3 turn big and make sure you are going straight not in a circle when you take off The Toe Loop: 1. Right 3 turn 2. Toe with left foot 3. 1 revolution 4. Land on right Tips: 1. Same as before: neat arms 2. once again, big 3 turn and make sure your going straight Hope that helps! :D

I LOVE Toe-loops! Here's a tip my coach gave me, once you do your big 3 turn entrance shove your pick in the ice and then bring your knee up as you turn and DON'T jump until you are facing forwards. As for Salchows do a 3 turn entrance (if you are right handed then on your left foot), bring your free leg infront turn on it and jump (with your knee up..*achem* onto the right foot! (might sound confusing in typing but it makes sense on ice) :D Good luck!
